Welcome to my world! I'm Sinimatik, a hip-hop and rap artist from the midwestern USA. I’m not just any artist—I’m a conscious lyricist with a passion for blending genres and pushing the boundaries of hip-hop. Music is my canvas, and I use it to paint vivid stories, raw emotions, and good vibes that resonate on every level.

 

Growing up in a close-knit family, I discovered my voice early, writing and performing lyrics for my family by the age of 9. What started as a spark turned into a blazing passion when I recorded my first song, “New to the Game,” in 2009. From that moment on, I’ve been pouring my heart into crafting mixtapes, refining my skills, and evolving my sound into something uniquely my own.

After a 3-year hiatus, I’m back—and I’m brought the heat! I’m thrilled to announce that I’m putting the final touches on two exciting projects: “Wishful Thinking” and “Juice”. Wishful Thinking is set to drop in February 2025, while “Juice” will be released alongside the album “YOLO” in winter of 2025.

 

​Wishful Thinking tells the story of a young man navigating the complexities of self-discovery while living in a gang-ridden city. Despite his strong moral character, he is trapped by circumstances that force him to confront the harsh realities of his environment. Throughout the album, he struggles to balance his desire to be a good person with the necessity of defending himself against constant threats. At the same time, he cannot fully escape the chaos around him, often indulging in its madness because it’s the only life he’s known. While he despises his reality and dreams of a way out, he also empathizes with it, understanding its underpinnings.

 

Overall, the album is a lyrical journey through life’s highs and lows, infused with fun, wit, and thought-provoking storytelling. It flows seamlessly from tracks like “Identity Crisis,” a biting commentary on society's dangerous obsession with validation and instant gratification, to cheeky anthems like “Shake That,” exploring love in unexpected and taboo place. Beyond the surface, the album dives deep into the issues that shape our lives—religion, race, class, politics, relationships, personal morality, the pursuit of money, and broader societal/environmental struggles.

I promise, Wishful Thinking is not a lecture, an economics class, a sympathy plea for the less fortunate, or a judgment of the privileged. It’s music that gets real without losing its rhythm—bold, relatable, and packed with clever lyrics designed to challenge, entertain, and inspire.

On the flip side, “Juice” is here to turn the party all the way up. This EP is pure fun—a carefree collection of southern trap beats and wild lyrics made for nightclubs, parties, and good vibes. It’s not about teaching or preaching—it’s about keeping you dancing, laughing, and mesmerized by the rhymes. “Juice” is your go-to soundtrack for letting loose and living in the moment.

I do it all—writing, producing, recording, mixing, mastering, and creating visuals. Every element of my music and art, including this very website, is crafted with my own hands and vision. Wearing so many hats can be exhausting, but it’s a challenge I embrace because it gives me complete freedom and creative control to shape my work exactly the way I envision it.
